MAALOUF, ANWAR  D., of Briarcliff Manor, on May 13, 2010.  Husband of Elizabeth, father of Mary (Jonathan) Kaiser, Yvonne (Glenn) Thomas, Laurence Maalouf, grandfather of Luke and Claire.  He is now joining his third grandchild Annie in Heaven.  He is also survived by his brother and 2 sisters and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.  Anwar was born and raised in Damascus, Syria, before coming to the US to attend Calvin Coolidge College in Boston, where he received his bachelors and Masters degrees.  He then went on to work for Dun and Bradstreet and then for Texaco, Inc. as a Vice President for exploration for 20 years, during which time he lived in West Africa before settling in Briarcliff.  After retiring from Texaco he worked as a consultant in the Middle East and Europe.  We love you and will miss you Poppa.  Calling hours The Chapel at St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Seminary, Crestwood, between the hours of 3 to 5 pm Sunday.   Funeral Service at St. Vladimir’s Chapel on Monday, May 17 at 10 am.
