Thomas, Honohan, beloved husband of Florence Honohan and longtime resident of  The Bronx, Breezy Point, and Scarsdale, New York, pass away on Monday January 18, 2010 at White Plains Hospital.   He was born September 4, 1920 in The Bronx, New York to Thomas L. and Anna Quinn-Honohan.  Mr. Honohan was employed by Rogers Engraving Company, Queens, New York as a photo-engraver for his entire career.  He and his family are particularly proud of his service to his country during WWII.  Mr. Honohan was a First Lieutenant in the US Army Air Corps, 351st Bomb Group, and he piloted a B-17,  flying numerous missions in the ETO.  Thomas Honohan will be remembered forever for his generosity, selflessness and sacrifice for his family and tremendous loyalty to all who knew him as a friend.  He was veracious reader and loved a good game of golf.  He is survived by his loving wife, Florence, his sisters Miriam Fitzpatrick and Anne Egan, and his four children Thomas, Nancy, John, and James, and their spouses.  Mr. Honohan had 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews.  The family and friends will gather at  McGrath  Funeral Home, Bronxville, New York on Friday, January 22 from 3 to 5 and from 7 to 9 pm.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on the Post Rd. in Scarsdale, New York on Saturday, January 23 at 10 am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
